Purchase Agreement

By choosing to purchase merchandise from European Country Living you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this Purchase Agreement.

Returns & Exchanges

A full refund, exchange or store credit is possible on accessories within 2 weeks of purchase date.  Furniture may be returned within 2 weeks of purchase for store credit only.  All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by an original receipt.  No returns, refunds or exchanges are possible after 2 weeks of purchase date.

There are no returns or exchanges possible on Floor Models, Clearance Items or Custom Orders.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any merchandised purchased fits into the desired location. There will be a 10% re-stocking fee on all returns due to size restrictions.

Delivery and service fees are non-refundable.

Floor Models & Clearance Items

All Floor Models and Clearance Items are sold “As Is” and there can be no returns or exchanges.  It is the responsibility of each customer to inspect every item before making a purchase of these items as there may be slight imperfections and/or wear and tear.

VAT Forms

Each customer may use one (1) valid VAT form per day totalling net purchases of €2500 or less per day.   Multiple VAT forms for purchases over €2500 are permissible and will be rung up over several business days.  Customers may not share VAT forms or borrow VAT forms from friends.

 

Extended Payments

ECL offers free financing with no administrative fees in form of an Extended Payment Plan.  There is a €1000 minimum net purchase to qualify, with a 50% deposit and 2 additional payments of 25% of any outstanding balance.  Payments will be booked on a valid credit card on scheduled payment dates.  An Extended Payment Plan is not connected to the arrival of furniture.  Should there be any delinquincy in payments, remaining balances are due in full.  There is a 10% administrative fee for any cancellations of Extended Payment Plans.

Custom Orders

Cancellations are not permitted once orders are placed;  there will be a 25% administrative fee should any Custom Ordered merchandise be refused.  No refund on delivery fees and any remaining balance will be given as a store credit.

Holds

ECL can hold merchandise for purchase until the end of the following business day.  No holds on Stock Items, Floor Models, Clearance Items or during a general sale.

Delivery Fees

All deliveries will be charged a delivery fee.  There can be no sharing of deliveries unless all items are delivered on the same day to the same location.  No refunds on delivery fees.

Customer Pick-Ups

ECL cannot be held liable for any damages to merchandise should a customer opt to pick up any merchandise themselves.  It is the customer’s responsibility to bring enough manpower and wrapping materials.
